FALCONS SOCCER:
The girls team set out to accomplish a season opening victory tonight at Niles Brandywine.
With a great team effort and diligent footwork the game ended in a 7-1 win. The high wind posed a threat but didn't overtake a quick goal within the first minute. We had an amazing effort by our defense to keep the ball off our half and the pressure on the Bobcats. Speed & Ball work from the midfield to our forwards was key to releasing our shooters to the goal.
Senior Keeper Alyssa Parmer, #37, chalked up 7 saves in this almost shut-out.
Senior Forward Kylie Roberts, #10, tagged up a hat-trick & some with 4 goals and an assist.
1st one at :40.
Senior Midfielder Grace Hofmeister, #3, added two goals.
Senior Midfielder Leah Dumm, #9, in her first soccer match tallied 1 goal.
